05). The Lagos street at night. The tailor's veranda has the work, the light, the machine, and no sign; people walk past in the dark. He paints a board by lamplight, TUNDE FIXES SHIRTS, and stands it by the road. One by one, windows on the street light up and neighbours come to the rail. By Friday the whole street knows.
