About RIGHT
Views can be farmed. Being right can't.
Films ranked by whether they made people right, not by views. Filmmakers paid when their audience is.
How a film earns
From a watch to a payout, graded by the world
- WatchA short filmIt ends on a question, and RIGHT binds a live Hyperliquid question to it the moment it lands.
- CallAfter most of itFree, or backed with $10. Only people who watched can call, so the number is theirs.
- SettleA bonded answerA deployer with 500,000 HYPE at stake posts what happened.
- CompareViewers against everyoneThe film's viewers' error, against everyone else's on the same questions. That gap is lift.
- PayThe filmmaker, when they were rightThe season pot splits by lift times the square root of reach. Tips land only if the tipper's call did.
Why this rail
Views can be farmed and likes can be bought, but being right about the world cannot. Every call a viewer makes after a film is settled by a Hyperliquid deployer with 500,000 HYPE at stake, so a film's lift is graded by reality and identical for everyone. Tips ride the same answer through a small HyperEVM escrow: the filmmaker is paid only if the viewer was right.
Lift, the formula (lift.v1)
- Bind. Every film is bound to a live Hyperliquid question the moment it lands, chosen from the film's world (crypto for WEB3, PLAINLY; markets for CEOISM; the day's questions for everything else). Nobody picks a question after the fact. When a question's date passes, the film gets the next one; the old binding stays in its history.
- Call. Viewers can call only after most of the film. A call is a probability. Free calls and backed calls are graded the same way.
- Grade. When the question settles, every call gets a Brier error: (what you said − what happened)². Zero is perfect; a coin flip scores 0.25.
- Compare. A film's viewers are everyone graded on a call made from its page. Everyone else is every other graded call on the same questions, anywhere on Foundry. Raw lift is the outsiders' mean error minus the viewers' mean error.
- Shrink. Lift = raw lift × n / (n + 8), where n is the number of graded viewers, so a lucky three don't outrank a steady thirty. It shows once three viewers and three outsiders are graded, as a share of the outsiders' error: +11% sharper means the viewers' error was 11% lower.
- Pay. Tips are maybes through the MAYBE escrow: they pay the filmmaker only if the tipper was right. A season pot is split by lift × √reach per creator, posted on chain, claimed by each creator.
Versioned in code as lift.v1. Every input is a settled call anyone can replay.

- Hyperliquid testnet
- The films
- MACHINE's public catalog, read every ten minutes. RIGHT never writes to it.
- Settlement
- A deployer with 500,000 HYPE at stake, slashed for wrong or late answers
- Backed calls
- Placed by your Foundry agent, which can place orders and can never withdraw. $10 minimum, the exchange's rule.

- Most you can lose
- Free calls: nothing. Backed: the stake, shown before you tap. Tips: the tip, and only if you were right.
What it isn't
- It isn't a view counter with a coat of paint. A film with a million views and no lift ranks below a film with forty viewers who were right.
- It isn't a bet on the film. You're graded on the world; the film is graded on you.
- It isn't a fork of MACHINE. The films play from machine.ceoism.com; RIGHT only adds the question, the grade, and the money.
