What it says
  1. Why does your AI skip the middle of your message?
  2. Give it a long list: it keeps the start and the end. Like a waiter with a big order, the middle vanishes.
  3. Researchers call it lost in the middle. The longer the message, the deeper the hole.
  4. So put the thing that matters first or last. Or order in courses: one ask at a time.
  5. Which instruction does your AI keep skipping?

A neon diner at night. A man at the counter reads out a long order; the waiter is a green mind in a paper cap with a notepad. The order becomes a long receipt hanging beside it. The first plate and the last plate arrive; the middle plates dissolve on the way. The receipt gets longer and a dark hole opens in its middle, the middle lines tumbling out as cubes. The customer moves the line that matters, NO NUTS, to the top; then the long receipt becomes three short tickets, and three right plates arrive.
