What it says
- Ask your AI a yes or no question. Then count the words.
- Because in training, people picked the better of two answers, and they usually picked the longer one.
- So it learned more words look like more help. Ask for a pinch, it heaps the sack.
- The extra words aren't extra knowing. Just weight on the scale.
- Name the measure. 'One line.' 'Answer first, then why.' It fills exactly the cup you hold out.
- How many words did yours need?
15). A spice market at noon where answers are sold by weight. You hold out a tiny cup and ask a yes-or-no question; the seller (the machine) pours a whole sack over it. Why: at the judging tent, two heaps sat on the brass scales and the judges kept pinning the rosette on the heavier one, so the seller learned that more looks like better. The fix, at the tea house: name the measure ("one line", "answer first, then why") and the cup is filled exactly to the brim.
