What it says
  1. The higher you list an option, the more your AI likes it.
  2. It doesn't weigh choices. It reads them in a row, and the first cake gets the ribbon.
  3. Swap the cakes; the ribbon moves too.
  4. So make it taste before it judges. 'Score each option first, then choose.' Or ask twice, reversed.
  5. A score written down is harder to hand to whichever cake is nearest.
  6. Would you trust its first pick?

18). A village fete in a bunting hall. Three cakes on a long table; the judge (the machine) walks the row and pins the ribbon on the first cake without weighing the others. Swap the cakes and the ribbon moves too. The fix, by the middle: make it taste before it judges, a score sheet with a number under each cake ("score each first, then choose"), or ask twice with the order reversed. The ribbon moves to the best cake. The why: a score written down is harder to hand to whichever cake is nearest.
